Apple Watch Review

Software:

If you know the saying, "There is an app for that," then you might be annoyed with the watch.  There are apps that do have watch apps, but they are not all set up to natively run on the watch hardware.  This means that there will be loading times for non-native apps that could run up to thirty to forty seconds.  There are apps that are non-Apple that do run natively but they are few and far in between.  Most of these apps are health-centered.  One of my health complaints would have to be no pre-loaded or working apps for Sleep tracking.  I have spent three days trying to get two different apps working and have failed each time.  I am not sure if it is the app or the watch that are not working with each other.

As for other apps, there are some games that work wonderfully for it.  Most are not native.  That can be understandable in most cases as they are mostly internet games.  The game that I have been playing mostly does run natively and updates with the app on the phone as well.

Health:

As for the Health portion of this review, it is a bit lackluster.  The primary focus of this watch is to be a watch and to be an extension of your phone use.  I would say that is where this wearable falls short.  The way it tracks stuff is a bit slow, it does not catch everything.  If you are a health conscious iPhone user, do not get the Apple Watch.  The health app and the tracker are quite basic.  There is no native or stock sleep tracker.  That is one of the issues that I had with the health part of this review.

Overall:

If you are a die hard Apple person, this is the wearable for you.  If you are not, save your money and go for a better option. If you are looking for a smart watch and a big big apple fan this is for you
